About Us
Dance Quest is a unique Theatrical Dance Competition run over the June long weekend, held at the Swan Park Theatre Midvale.The genres we include are Jazz, Broadway, Lyrical, Acrobatics, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Tap Scholarship, Senior and Classical Scholarship, Junior and Senior.Dance Quest offer sections in ages from 4yrs and Under to Open Age in classifications Novice and OpenSections include Solos, Duo's & Trio's and Troupes. Troupe will be split into Small and Large groups if enough entries are submitted.We have Perpetuals for most Open sections and also Cash Prizes for selected sections.All solo winners from an Open Section go into the running to be the W.A State Dance Quest Champion in Junior or Senior levels. The highest scores from the genres Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Broadway or Acrobatics become the Top Twenty Finalists (10 Junior and 10 Senior) which then compete on Finals Night for the Championship. Plus the NEW ' Wild Card' performer to make 11 finalists!We are one of the only competitions that offers such large cash prize awards in Perth
